Las Vegas is home to countless organizations making a difference in our community, and Positive Pups is one of them. This local nonprofit 501(c)(3) is dedicated to helping families facing one of the most difficult decisions a pet owner can experience: choosing between life-saving veterinary care and financial hardship.
Founded by Melissa Wong after her own dog’s emergency medical journey, Positive Pups provides direct financial assistance for critical veterinary treatment, helping dogs stay where they belong, at home with the families who love them. Through community partnerships and donor support, the organization is creating a safety net for dogs in crisis throughout Southern Nevada.

About Positive Pups
Every dog deserves the opportunity to live a healthy, happy life with the family that loves them. Unfortunately, unexpected medical emergencies and financial hardships can force pet owners into heartbreaking situations where life-saving veterinary care feels out of reach.
Positive Pups is a Southern Nevada nonprofit organization 501(c)(3) dedicated to helping keep families together by providing financial assistance for critical veterinary care. Through community support, fundraising, and partnerships with local veterinary professionals, the organization helps remove financial barriers so more dogs can receive the treatment they need and return home where they belong.
Beyond emergency assistance, Positive Pups also works to educate the community, promote responsible pet ownership, and inspire others to become involved in improving the lives of companion animals throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
